Dr. Evan Stein is an Assistant Professor of Instruction for the HDO Bachelor’s program and data consultant for the HDO Master’s program. He received his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019 under Dr. Art Markman. He graduated from Boston University in 2011 with a dual B.A. degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. Evan loves teaching students about the scientific method, quantitative and qualitative techniques, and how to apply this to real-world contexts. Evan is also passionate about challenging students to think more openly about their career path and having them realize their career through curiosity and self-reflection. In his off time, Evan likes to go bowling, play paintball and video games with his friends, and hang out with his dog Rocky Raccoon.
