Professor Cory Juhl has taught at the University of Texas at Austin since 1992, and is currently working on naturalized theories of content. His papers have appeared in Philosophy of Science, Synthese, Analysis, Philosophical Studies, The Monist, The Journal of Philosophical Logic, Nous, Philosophy and Phenomenological Research. He contributed to the book Reading Putnam and co-wrote Analyticity with Eric Loomis.
For several years, he was a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews, which examines mathematical literature worldwide.
His academic awards include the Dean’s Fellowship, 2004; the Edmund L. Pincoffs Faculty Fellowship, 1996; and the UT Austin Research Institute Summer Research Grant, 1993.
Juhl is heavily involved in university and departmental service. He has served as associate chair for more than 15 years and as associate graduate adviser for more than 20 years. During this period he also served as Interim or Acting Chair and participated in numerous committees. He recently concluded a term on the Faculty Council.
