Change Management Certificate Program
This certificate program consists of three required courses (listed below) and one elective course option.

This program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to effectively lead individuals and groups through periods of uncertainty, growth, mission shift, or reorganization. Change is a constant in today’s business environment, and the ability to manage it is a critical asset for any leader.
Reduce Apprehension to Change: In this program, participants will learn strategies and techniques to reduce their team’s apprehension to change. Change can often be met with resistance. You will develop skills to address and alleviate these concerns.
Effective Change Communication: Communication is critical in managing change. This program will teach participants how to communicate change proposals most effectively, ensuring that their messages are understood and embraced by various stakeholders.
Strategic Change Planning: The program will provide participants with the tools and knowledge to plan strategically for unforeseen events. Change doesn’t always happen according to plan, and being able to adapt and strategize in real time is a crucial skill for leaders.
Behavior Change Empowerment: Change is not just about processes; it’s also about people’s behavior. This program will empower participants to exert greater influence and encourage behavior change within their organizations, making change initiatives more successful and sustainable.
You must complete the three courses below and one elective course (see elective options) within 18 months.

Time: 9 a.m.–4 p.m. each day
Location: UT Austin
Continuing Education Units (CEUs): 2.4 – 24 hours of instruction (CEUs awarded upon completion of the program)
Registration fee includes all course materials, catering (lunch and refreshments), WiFi access, and parking.
